Now you're really reaching! I'm no fan of her, however as past Commissioner's, it's an administrative position. Maybe you weren't around during Cortez Trotter days, but ask around. What was his "qualifications?" other than related to a high ranking politician. As far as mental health, many don't want that "stigma" attached to them that they laid up for "stress". If you walk into a firehouse each morning, and don't know the danger involved, then you need a reality check. This #### has happened in the past, it will unfortunately happen again, and all you can do is don't take any incident for granted. That's the lesson learned after every LODD, what can we do to prevent this. Truck officers will be throwing ladders up to buildings in the coming weeks to look for these dangers. Maybe this is your first LODD since you've been on, but it will be put in the past like all the others and people will move on. Replies:
