Standing upon the soft rocky area at the edge of the Lagoon, Nahawi heaved a sigh. He had been waiting for Snapdragon to return with word from Tyr, but currently she was still out searching for the answers he was seeking. It caused the red dun a bit of unease, but Nahawi did not let it show. Life was changing all around him and with what Rehoboam had said that fateful day had Nahawi moving to the crossing. His home was womanless which was a good thing, but he was beginning to grow lonely. He was not searching for a trinket, but a willing companion at this moment.

Striding from the Lagoon and over to the commons, Nahawi flicked his ears about his head and set his sights upon the distance. The scent of other horses coursed through his nostrils as did the sweet spring air. He was excited to learn foals were hitting the ground for expecting mothers and fathers. A smile lined his face with that thought before his gaze slowly slipped through the greenery and set upon a horse of gorgeous coloring. She was the same shade as Rehoboam which should make him shy away from the beauty, but there was something about her that called to the beast within, the one that was searching for his other half… his mate so to speak.

Be it way too early to consider those thoughts, Nahawi shoves those thoughts away and slowly moves towards the obviously confused mare. His head slowly tilted to the left as he moved over the long spring grass of the commons. He was slow and gentle in his approach, a soft nicker escaping his lips to alert her to his presence. She was all consuming of his attention, but he would not act like a foolish teenager at this moment either. Nahawi would behave and allow her to decide what she wanted from him once he got close enough to speak with her.

Once he was close enough, Nahawi stopped moving and gave a faint horse like bow. “Greetings miss. I cant help but see you are lost?” It was not an accusation, more like a question as he slowly stood back up. His ears perked forward then, his blue eyes kind and honest. “My name is Nahawi.”
