Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Silence speaks more than your lies.

Launching Tides
mare | 18.0hhs | bay | captive of the lagoon

Silence spanned the banks of Paradise, the world a bit heavier. Eyes of a soft brown held tears as a bay clydesdale mare looked back to her home, her body trembling as the young foal by her side seemed to grow more anxiety ridden. Launching Tide’s set her dark eyes on the leader of her home and gave a shake of her head. She could see from where she stood that Snapdragon was livid, the pale mare now working through her own thoughts towards the Lagoon. They all knew Nahawi was supposed to be making it a better place, but she had been stolen from a place that allied itself with just the red dun and now they were losing a precious member of their small ranks.

Huffing a breath, the bay mare nudged her dark daughter before moving into the ocean with Huntsman at her side. Their bodies shifted through the water and swam for what felt like hours. It took a lot out of Launch to swim with her child almost on top of her, but Launch did not stop. Her powerful legs pushed through the summer warmed waves and after a long stretch of time she found purchase on the banks of the Lagoon. Her body pulled from the ocean, but the marsh ahead of her had the mares eyes screwing shut in anger and fear. She was unsure of what was to come here, but she had no choice but to arrive anyways.

Azrael had not even met his daughter, which begged the question of why had he even fought for her? Launch knew it was his job as the sub-lead of shields, but he had failed. Snapdragon had been so angry the pale mare had stomped away as Launch swam, but Launch did not know why. She was a silent horse, one that rarely engaged in any fights and did not spar. She had been hoping to live a life of peace, but Garmr had stolen her away to the banks of the Lagoon and now she had to call it home.

Tentatively putting a hoof forward, the bay mare finally called out to anyone that lived here. She was scared, which was not a good look on her, but she knew the ball and chain that now held her hostage. She was a trinket, so was her daughter. They had to live the full season here and Azrael would be kept even longer from meeting his daughter. She wanted Siren back, the angry mare could have helped maybe? Launch was uncertain, but Paradise was down another horse and it left Launch stuck wanting to go back towards her home and then being pulled here. She was stuck between a rock and a hard place and she really hoped someone nicer than Garmr came to speak with her about what she was to do now.
