He smirks at her words, cocking an invisible eyebrow in Cae's direction. "Perhaps." He says with a nonchalant shrug. "Are you willin' to get a little dirty?" His statement seem innocent, but there is a subtle hint of suggestiveness laced in his words. He grins at her, dark eyes agleam in the dim light of the copse they stand within. He shifts his weight, brown eyes staring into her blue ones, waiting to see if she'd trust him enough to accompany him on a little journey. When she speaks, she says she will go with him, on the condition that he keeps her safe. Of course.

"I promise. Follow me." He says again, and after giving her a small nudge, he leads her out of the Meadow and towards the Lagoon. The air slowly gets warmer, the closer they get, and when they reach the Lagoon's border, Dixon looks back at Cae, pausing just long enough to give her time to reconsider. If she didn't want to go, she didn't have to. He would never force her to do anything she was uncomfortable with - it just wasn't in his nature. When she gives no indication of wanting to stop, he pushes further, past the border and into the thick forest of the lagoon.

"Here we are." He says, pausing momentarily again to look towards Cae. "Stay close to me. Don't wander off." He emphasizes, hoping she would get how seriously he meant it and follow his orders. If she were to get separated from him and another lagoon stallion were to stumble across her, that would be very bad - for her. The men of the lagoon could be vicious, salacious creatures. And given how young and pretty Cae was, well, that wouldn't end well. Plus, if he didn't keep her safe like he promised, he - as well as the entirety of the lagoon herd - could face the wrath of Lyden and his harem. That would certainly not be good.

Leading her further into the lagoon, Dixon remains on high alert, purposely avoiding areas that he knows the others frequented. "So," he says, falling back a little so their strides match. "Whatcha think?"
