It was all odd. Odd she hadn't attacked anyone or offended someone yet. Odd how she listened to Magnus and didn't knock out his words before they were spoken. All of it wasn't normal for her. However, either was her being a mother. Her first filly and most certainly her last. At first she said this because of the pain, but now. We'll now the filly was a pain in the butt. Running off when she got proper footing in the sand, snorting when Elexzra lectured her to stay close, even going as far as flailing her legs and the woman didn't know what else to do. Raising a foal wasn't given instruction and Elexzra was at the end of her rope.
Again the large filly started veering off and again Elexzra chased after her. This time a mother's rage boiling over. Stomping once very loudly, Amity stopped in her tracks as she stared at the arabian. An intimidating sight for any foal as the mare neared the filly with flared nostrils. Elexzra cold voice dropping from her lips. You weren't going anywhere right Amity? They both knew very well that the filly was going somewhere, but the little one just folded her ears back and expressed defeat.
Now Elexzra knew she didn't like punishment or using harsh words towards her daughter, but it was needed. Lecturing wasn't working so she nipped at Amity's hind quarters. Causing a look of shock in the foals face. Elexzra lifted her head with a raised brow. Ya gonna listen now? The filly gave a snort and returned to Elexzra's direct side. Magnus', definitely Magnus' foal. The thought had her ears pinning for a quick second.
Only long enough for them both to walk back to the thickets. Where Elexzra would attempt to add back weight that she had truly lost while being in these lands. Still, she didn't stray too far from the oceans view. Replies:
