Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Claws that catch.

Leave it to family to ruin everything.

Once it was clear that Reginleif had no intention of stopping (even if she did slow up) Maleficent threw her head up into the air and let out an angry squeal. Pinning her ears, she ducked her head and dove toward the bigger and clearly more experienced mare with her mouth open and teeth looking to bite.

Reginleif’s teeth bit into the curve of her cheek and Mal threw her head back even harder, feeling the bones in her withers crack a little from the sudden strain, but she wasn’t about to give up Dreadscale so easily! Squealing again, Mal broke away from Reginleif and turned her butt toward the gray, kicking out.

Dreadscale, in all the commotion, had grown steadily more and more confused. He didn’t want his friend hurt trying to defend him--and even though he’d had high hopes of living in the Lagoon and making something of himself, there was a part of him that didn’t like being fought over. He wasn’t some silly heartsick filly, after all!

Still, he took several spooked steps away from the fight, which created just enough accidental distance for Reginleif to dart in and snake him away without Mal being able to do much more than follow.
