Settle in? Annie didn't know what that felt like honestly. She had always been moving from place to place. She had never been welcome to stick around long enough to know what a home was all about. Home. What did that mean? Love? What was that? Annie couldn't tell you as she'd never really experienced either of these things. Friends? Only when it was convenient for them to find help through her. Then they were gone. It was always the same story. Sad really if you thought about it. It was never that she didn't want attention and socialization. She was never one to be in the center of anything, but friendship would be nice. Maybe love someday. Annie didn't know that such a thing would ever be for her though. Not with how it always seem to turn out.
They were a lot a like honestly. This stallion and she. Betrayal seemed to run its course anywhere you went. It could never be escaped. No matter how hard she'd tried to fit in or stay friends somewhere along the line; it all fell apart. She wasn't a vicious creature and she was never cold hearted. She had compassion and hope. Andreania had lots of things but home and love? Those were not a part of her life as of this point in time. They hadn't been since she'd been a child. That day though; she'd had her whole world torn apart and Annie couldn't ever get that back.
Pulled from her thoughts by the sound of a nicker, Annie shifted slightly. Those deep eyes glanced around before falling on him. This stallion. Nostrils flared as she took in the scents around her and namely; his own. Ears pulled up and swiveled toward him as she returned a call. It was of course a welcome for him to come closer as he'd inquired to. There was no harm in a friendly meeting after all. Right? Replies:
