The warm spring sun beat down on her back as she loped along the dunes. This wasn't a headlong rush to challenge the wind but rather a calculating way to further explore the place she called home in a quicker manner than walking. Walking was for mere mortals. She had too much energy for such things. The very wind lived in her heart and carried her hooves along so she needed to heed the call whenever it came. Her mind wandered as she moved along the golden dunes, thinking over her last few encounters. The wedding between one of the brothers and that pretty mare was breathtaking, but they stood still for entirely too long and she was itching to get her hooves dirty by the end of it. Luckily, she could tell with just a glance of Sayyida's eyes that she understood. At least her friend didn't judge her or think her rude for her flightiness.

The herdlands were rich with the scent of other horses, both mare and stallion, and Corona wanted to know more about them. She was getting quick glances here and there and learning a little more as time went along but it still wasn't enough. She was grateful for her friendship with Sayyida. The mare meant more to her than she'd ever know and Corona always felt she would owe her for bringing her to this majestic place. But now Corona needed to find her place in it and she didn't plan on resting until she did exactly that. She probably wouldn't rest even then. It wasn't in her nature. Her eyes caught on an oasis up ahead and she slowed her gait just enough to prance into the water and stop to drink for a moment, satisfying her thirst. As she lifted her head, licking her lips, she looked around, suddenly feeling like she was being watched. "If you're trying to stalk me, I hope you move fast." She taunted the shadow of the trees.
