You just don't understand what you don't know... what you aren't experienced enough to do, and you don't hve the support of the country.... essentially the country doens't trust people who don't have the judgment.
Its a rare occurrence when a young person manages to be so lucky as to found an organization and have the maturity to run it. Even Microsoft has made enough mistakes to have a half assed reputation for quality, despite that nobody else had such a remarkable product. They really still cant get it right and I'd suggest that the patent laws are the only things that kept Microsoft on top. Essencially Windows has been successful DESPITE Microsoft's ability to bring it to market.
And compounded by Apple's marketing mistakes and strategy that didn't accommodate the vast majority of business needs which was data management, not graphic arts.
I was around in those early days and Apple just didn't embrace business's needs related to products and accounting. They never did put their brains besides data base management and even when they tried, it was mostly graphics oriented and that was neeer big enough to handle industry's needs.
I'm sure others have done the autopsy with investigation, and concluded the same. Like Volkswagen. Its vision was novel and popular but there's no way VW could have achieved more than a niche market.
Its very normal for young people to have great ideas, innovation, but generally don't have the business sense go go big league. I'd say there are great exceptions, but not many. American business and industry is guided by gray hairs for a reason!
Don't worry, you'll grow into it, every generation does. But you have to pay your dues and learn about the business world as you do.
