The travels brought me here...

Voyager

Stallion - Percheron - 17hh - Frozen Mist

Standing on the bank once Cromer had landed herself, the large horse shook out his own frame before looking at the dense canopy of trees. There were areas that would have sun, but there were even better areas covered from the harsh bright rays and the water that could seep through from rain. His mind imagined a home free of snow and this was the best in which they could come for. Looking over at Cromer though, he faintly chuckled under his breath at the look of awe he thought he saw upon her face. Indeed her had brought her to a snowless heaven.

With her words out in the air, Voyager flicked his tail and faintly snorted as water had touched his nostrils with the swim to this bank away from the other land. “Plenty of dryland for winter and shade for the summer when things heat up a bit.” Voyager liked that he would not sweat to death here in the summer. He got the best of both worlds and that was all that he could really ask for. Humming under his breath, he began to move forward faintly, looking over at Cromer from the corner of his eye.

“You have had a long day of swimming. If you would like, I can take you farther inland to a space better suited for resting?” On islands, the beaches dealt with high and low tide. He did not wish for her to get water logged more than she currently was once the tide rose and the water etched farther onto the land. His body was wet enough as it stood and his black shadow of a frame wanted to just hang out in the dense forest where he could nibble on the faint grass life that grew upon the forest floor.
