Give me strength for I have faith.

Pulling herself from the ocean and eyeing her barely month old foal, Hedera Helix, a black snowflake appaloosa, nibbled at her childs forelock. The little palomino filly beside her had the coloring of her father, but Hedera would never tell the sweet child that her conception was the equivalent of a drunken one night stand. Hedera loved her foal and was thankful to have the young one at her side. With a child to raise, Hedera was now on the hunt for a home to call her own, be it as a standard herd mare or something else. That was the exact reason she found herself in the Dunes, her blue eyes dancing as her vitiligo spotted face looked off into the distance.

Flicking her black and white ears forward, the mare watched the sun faintly rise in the distance before she heaved a breath. She was thankful for the warmth here as it allowed her young filly to dry from the cold ocean, the trembling child no longer shaking as viciously. It would take time for the light colored foal to grow accustomed to these lands, but Hedera was already excited as she turned with her young foal and searched for anything edible in the sands. She had been to a sandy place before and with that knowledge, Hedera Helix and her child Saucer moved over the ground slowly and nibbled at the faintly growing edible pieces on the beach.
