licking black ears, Lucifer stood behind the cascading water of the falls. At his side, the little red foal blinked her blue eyes and watched him, her memory all wonky. Lucifer was unsure of what to make of this, but the black beast soon enough lowered his head and brushed his muzzle against her cheek. He had to leave, to go search for a nurse mare. It had his long tail twitching in unease, but soon enough the black beast whispered a stay here to the foal he now considered his. The black stallion was unsure of what bond he was growing with the child, but if he remembered right, it was that bond of a father and daughter. It made him uneasy in that sense, but the mammoth had to deal with it as best as he could.
Shaking his head, the black stallion moved away from the falls with a gentle caress to the filly’s head. His large hooves flicked over the dense vegetation of the falls and towards the ocean. He had a place in mind, but Lucifer was unsure. This was the first time he had ever felt these emotions, but suddenly the stallion felt his heart race. It was not in rage or anger and it confused him. Narrowing his brows at that feeling, the stallion shook his head before his hooves hit the sea and his body escaped the crossing isle all together.
Licking his lips as he swamp, Lucifer covered a lot of ground. His shire built form moved like a cargo ship, the water rippling and pushing out around him as his throat cut through it. His black ears rest against his head as his nostrils stay partially pinched, avoiding water entering them. It was taking its sweet time, but once he finally reached Tinuvel, the black mammoth no longer smelt of the lagoon. His coat held the stench of salty sea water, which aided him in his next mission.
Rising from the surf, Lucifer shook out his large frame before his head lifted and he drug in the scent of this territory. If memory serves him right from when he killed his mother, Lucifer pegged this as the bay, the territory in which Fell ruled. It was not the best landing spot for him to hit, but the beast did not care as his large hooves moved through the bay and towards the forest. He had to find a nurse mare, someone that would help him with that foal. It was his only thought in mind until his fur prickled and a
scent entered his nostrils.
Blinking flaming eyes, Lucifer turned his head as a loud roar sounded in the distance. It had his skin prickling in goosebumps, but the black stallion tried to shy them away. What made everything come in worse though was the deadly silent air after that roar. Lucifer listened after it had ended, but there were no birds chirping and there was nothing else making noise. It had him narrowing his eyes and slowly heading towards the roar, the odd feeling of curiosity circulating through his blood.
Moving through the territory and stopping after a while, Lucifer looked down the faint hill he was on. He was hidden by tree shadows, but his bright eyes soon enough locked on to a skinny creature moving in the distance. Tilting his head, Lucifer took in the creature for a long while before the creature shifted and eyed him. Feeling his eyes bulge open, Lucifer stumbled backwards, genuine fear coursing through his blood as he gave a cry once the creature now known as a bear came charging his way.
