Long enough he has been quiet. It was time he made some strides towards validating his story to Nicodemus. It would help his case for backup if someone in the Cove decided to meet him with displeasure. Just a lonely family man waiting on the family.
Fall was the best time to set out mare hunting. It seems they usually popped up around these times so his searching shouldn't be too hard. The longest part of the journey would be the travel time to and from Tinuvel.
He arrives in the commons, his spotted coat soaked with salt water, and begins to search all the faces in the distance. There was a couple mares here to choose from and a few already had suitors chatting them up. Though he could take some competition he wasn't exactly looking for it today. Warwrick would rather have it the easy way.
The young stallion passes around the others as he studies their faces. Plenty of beauty was here, but it was the mare walking ahead of him that intrigues him the most. Her statue was similar to something his father would describe about his mother. There were differences, sure, but none of the others in the commons quite fit like she did.
A slow pace allows the mare to find her final resting place as his lips part for audible hello. Warwick continues closer until he was within talking distance. He moves around to be more towards her face before speaking in deep tones and a charm any mare might kick at. "Come home with me," was all he says. Too bad his darling mother died before he could learn any manners.
