Boss's Decree

For every brother you bring into the Lagoon, you may have a trinket of your own. I will not touch, barter, trade, or do anything with them. For every foal you create that lives here in the lagoon, you must win a battle or bring in a new brother.

If neither of these criteria are met, come them turning two and remaining in the lagoon, they are mine to do with as I see fit.

The Offspring

Briseis (Carthage x Clio)
Flynnrir (Garmr x Druna)
Gersemi (Garmr x Dior)
Gothic (Garmr x Dior)
Phaethon (Acid x Sabah)
Sadie (Abraxas x Mercy)

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

I want your heart on a platter

Oh, you want battle?
I'll give you war.

"Going somewhere?" I asked, my voice neutral despite the darkness that always glimmered in my deep brown eyes.

Vogue was, as always, a beautiful creature to behold. Whatever breeding she had behind her had given her an almost swan-like appearance that gave her a refinement not often found on the islands. Combined with her pretty coat and penchant for surprising me, I found myself more fond of her than I was of most other mares.

It helped that she had borne me a couple of children too, I couldn't lie.

The last time I'd seen her, she'd still be round with the evidence of our last coupling. And while I was no expert on the shape a mare's body took post-foaling, she reeked of something new but not, which implied to me that somewhere behind her was the evidence of what we'd done. My gaze flicked behind her to where a screen of bromeliads obscured the path, and then back to her pretty face with an inquisitive tilt of my head. She'd been an attentive mother - so far as I could tell - to our last one, and had been worried enough about her daughter before.

And while no, I hadn't produced results on the search for her daughter, it wasn't from lack of trips to the Peak. Rather, I tended to get distracted by the other residents therein.
