A chuckle rumbles his throat as the colt begs his mother to go now. Nico knew she had to be tired even if the colt displayed some endless energy. Tino should sleep well tonight, but first they had to get home.
Home. It felt good to refer these two with the Inlet. He had a good feeling they would fit in and do well there. Tino begins to walk off on his own again as Nico eyes Raini to see what she would do.
Surprisingly, Tino stops on his own before he gets in trouble. He smiles as Raini rolls her eyes before looking at him and nodding. As soon as she said they were ready he was taking off with them. Nico picks up the pace to full ahead of both of then to show them the proper way. He guides them across the sea to cold waters of Tinuvel. They reach his shoreline and Nico watches them both in interest.
He chuckles at Tino who shakes himself off so close to then. Nico waits until Raini had walked away before shaking himself free of the excess water, salt still clinging to his coat. As she walks back she eyes him after bursting against her son. Her nods at her question and directs them tot he treeline.
"Follow me," He says as he guides them further inland and into the pines.
"This place can get very cold at night so staying close to the others for warmth is important. Or at least staying close to each other." He gives Tino a hard look.
He rests his body along a large pine, using the rough bark to scratch his side for a few seconds. He turns around so that he was facing the pair.
"Come close and we will get warm faster." It wasn't a ploy, but he could see how some stallions might use it as such. He hoped by now Raini had enough trust in him that he wasn't trying to be funny.
