The night was peaceful, which made a mare of a thick stature softly smile to herself. Her muscled frame slowly headed towards the rest of the herd, hoping to curl up near them, but not on them. She had taken her time that night, enjoying the soft grasses on her own. The taste of them had the mare named Dreamer smiling even now, swallowing the sweet treats she had found. One such treat was clover, which she now held in her lips.
Hearing hooves up ahead of her, Dreamer was about to say a greeting when the body whirls around. Stopping all forward movement, Dreamer watches the Inlet lead stallion before dipping her head faintly. At his question, the mare just chuckles softly. “No, sir. Everything is okay. I am sorry for coming behind you.” She was a peaceful creature, had been since the day Nicodemus had won her against Lir. She had never once returned to the Prairie, as seen this spring evening.
“Are you alright?” She asked him, her head tilting to the side with the pink clover drooping with the motion. She just grinned a bit though, curious if the older stallion would speak with her or continue on his own path. It seemed both were heading towards the herd, but she was the odd duck out considering she was part of said herd, not the leader.
