During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Equinox was lost. Dark shadows casting cool shade on the pup's shaking gray frame as he darted through the maze of trees, trying hard not to crash but he did trip many times and fall flat on his nose, only to get up and start again. Everything around him was unfamiliar, the smells he didn't recognize a single one of them. How had he ended up here? Not long ago he had been playing at Adoption Meadows with another puppy. When the pup went off somewhere Equinox had followed, or what he thought was the pup's scent. Only to discover he had a false trail and found himself in a remote corner of Blossom Forest. He wished now that he had stayed with his mother, he longed for the feeling of her teeth gently grabbing hold of his scruff and carrying him to safety. And his brother and father. The silence was probably what tortured him the most. There was dead silence. Not a sound could be heard in the male's sensitive auds and it was what frightened him the most. Maybe he had died and this was hell, to be tortured in eternal silence.

Running blindly, narrowly missing the trunks of the trees the gray pup finally came to a stop when he could run no more. He didn't even notice the pack border he was on. Lying down, he curled up in a ball and wrapped his fluffy tail around his body and stuck his face into his tail. And so he lay there, entire body shaking in fear. His eyes were milky white, making it obvious of his blindness. He wasn't sure what would happen, maybe he should just try and go to sleep and escape the panic that was eating him up.
