Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

As soon as Leoniah was out of sight Akira took off in the opposite direction with a quiet growl. If Mugen could take off with little consequense, so could sh... Or so that's what the red pup thought. Anywhere was better than couped up with her siblings in a little cave. With red ears pinned back, she disappeared out of sight.

Akemi opened her mouth to protest her sister's departure, but thought better of it. At least there might be a few hours of peace without her around. She turned to Kin and gave a weak smile. "I'll help you move the boulder.. It's not fair that you and Mugen get all the fallout to deal with," she began walking into the den, but stopped mid-step. Whipping around just in time to see the jaws part in a rawr, the black and violet pup saw her first dragon. The menace in the creature triggered an interesting response in herself... Not fear, not cowardice.. Annoyance. The eyes of the giant reptile were the same as Akira's always were, filled with unjustly rage.

Taking an unwavering step forwar, away from the den, Akemi's lip lifted in anger. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" I was obvious to anyone that perhaps her limit had been reached today. The violet eyes snapped to the dragon's own, narrowing and hardening like dark amethyst jewels. She stood tall, teeth clenching hard enough they squeaked, tail lashing back and forth.

Freedom's deep blue eyes watched the goings on silently, not following the pups into the den when Leoniah left, not even following her brother. And, in staying, she was perhaps the closest to the dragon. Her fur was on end as it's shadow enveloped her body. Turning slowly on golden paws, her coat seemed lackluster in the absence of light. The jaws and ivory teeth seemed like they were inches from her even though several feet separated her from the beast. She took a step back, standing beside Akemi now. She shied at the sound of the black and violet pup's angry yell, but straightened up quickly. With an unsure look at Akemi, the gold and black tribal marked pup looked back to the blue metal dragon and gave a growl, showing her own pearly white puppy teeth in a snarl.
