During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The little blizzard

The breeze brought an unfamiliar scent to him, and his towers picked up the sound of paws hitting the earth. He turned and saw an unknown brute trotting toward both him and the alphess. Aindreas' hackles rose as was his instinct. Something about the wolf frightened him, possibly due to his size or just his attitude, which put a dark aura around him. His orbs took him in and then flickered back to the alphess. He wondered if she would accept him into her pack.

The pup turned as his flares picked up the scent of the fae who had adopted him. He turned to face her as she arrived and his orbs took in her tongue as it lolled out of her mouth and then back in. He imagined that she had been about to clean him. His orbs turned to look at him coat, which was was dusted lightly with dirt. Aindreas shook his frame and the dirt lifted from his coat and gently fell, returning to the earth. Turning his frame, his own tongue ran across his coat to clean himself, getting out the last remains of the dirt until his coat once again was pure white. It took out in stark contrast to the earth, the trees, all of his surroundings. He looked like he would belong better in the sky with his coat as the clouds and his dark blue eyes as the sky before a rain storm.

While his towers took in Casey's words, his mind was in turmoil. Yes, she had adopted him, but he wasn't ready to let go of his previous life yet and he felt that if he called Casey "mother", then he would lose his memories of his birth mother. He turned his orbs to the ground and pounced upon a leaf that had been blown up from the ground by the wind, pretending that he hadn't heard her.
