Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Virago loved rabbits. They were her favorite. They were her mother's favorite. Virago loved the chase of them. They were always so nimble but she was quicker and could spin on a dime if need be. It sorta left the rabbits at a disadvantage. As she trotted up to the field, she doesn't blink an eye at the other wolves. Instead, those hot pink eyes that she inherited from her father now looked at the rabbits. Really all of them looked tasty and it was almost like having a starving child at a buffet. she was overwhelmed.

She paused, and then flew forward, chasing a rabbit, weaving and gaining on the creature with every stride and when she finally caught a leg between her teeth she jerked her head forward and spun around on her haunches. She rabbit screamed as rabbits were apt to do in their death throes and jerked hard in an effort to get away. Virago pricked her ears as she heard the crack of it's little back and felt it go limp in her jaws. She set it down, readjusting her grip to it's neck and then trotting to the edge of the meadow where there was a little bit more cover. She wastes no time and feels no sorrow for the little creature she quickly was gulping down.

She didn't know any of the wolves that were present, but her pink eyes quickly watch them. She was small enough and built for speed which meant if a bigger wolf really really wanted her meal, she would have to gracefully accept her fate. But she'd be damned if she would leave much for him to steal.
