During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

A call for her caught the angel's attention and she took off curiously in that direciton. Not once, not a single time in her entire life had someone called for her before... not even Serryberry... but that was expected from him. Nevertheless, this caught her full attention and there was no turning away from it. Her recent visit to Abendrot had left their prisoner's scent all over the lass. Aindreas. That's who the voice belonged to. She sucked in a breath and then bounded in his direction. A smile, pure and true was painted onto her cute features as she bounded up to the taller and older male. Her toffee stargazers met with his own dulled cerulean ones and she wagged her tassel as she came up to nudge his muzzle in a greeting. For others, this might seem a bit too familiar. But remember, this is Kobato we're talking about. The dove was nothing short of a ditz, and her acknowledgement and knowledge (for that matter) for the traditions and socially acceptable acts was the same amount as for every kind of bird. They sang, they flew, and that's about it. They held no names for her. Touching others was something Kobato was a pro at. It had been that way since she recovered from her fever. It was as if she was testing to make sure that they were actually there and she wasn't imagining all of her life in the contures of her brain. After all, there were rooms so dark in her head that even she did not dare to enter. Alas, this is Kobato! Our dove is happy today, as she is everyday, and it spills off her body like the fountain of youth, promising longevity and peace between others. Happiness is such a wonderful thing, is it not?

Hihi Aindreas! she giggled as she drew back and ran a circle around him, not caring that she stunk of a different pack. Serris wasn't here... plus she was growing older, was she not? She could make her own decisions now. (Hint hint: rebellious teenager coming soon!) Today I learned how to swim! It was scary at first because I thought I was going to drown! The desert rose colored femme smiled heartily at the white knight and settled down in front of him, her plummage still wagging wildly. What've you been up to? Enjoying the scenery? She laughed and moved to her paws again, not being able to keep still for more than just a few seconds at a time. Classic Ko. She was still growing... though it came in small, short spurts. Her head would be up to Aindreas' collar bones by now. She danced about, revelling in the spring sunshine. Let's play let's play! Now she lowered herself into a playbow, her tassel swinging through the clean atmosphere like a knife. Ever the mind of a pup, little miss Kobato.
