During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

Aindreas’ icy gaze traveled upward toward the sky – the rain had stopped, but the thick smell that always existed after a rain hung in the air. In that moment, the brute could smell everything that was around him. Each scent was magnified as all of the plants opened their pores to take in the water that had been pouring down only moments before. The thick scent of the geosmins in the soil provided a rustic scent. Overall, it was relaxing. The water was well needed, and Aindreas’ thoughts travelled to how swelled the river would be from such a downpour… fish would be abundant. He had not tasted the delicacy of a tender fish in quite some time. Perhaps after Serris arrived and accepted the fae, the brute would make a trip to the river for some fish swiping. He glanced at the fae, allowing his blue orbs to run over her body, noting her good physique, and contemplated that she would probably be a good hunting partner. She would be strong and agile… some good meals could be won with her.

After Aindreas’ smart-aleck answer to her question, he took view of the fae’s audettes flattening to her cranium; she clearly had not liked his answer. Her words in response came quickly, her tones ringing harshly in his audettes. You don’t have to stay, if you do not wish to. Her eyes hardened, and Aindreas tilted his head to the side, confused as to why she had been so offended. Her plume even started to twitch in irritation. In response, Aindreas’ own audettes flattened. The fae barely knew him… how could he irritate her so much within such a short amount of time? He supposed that she would grow to despise his presence; any plans of hunting with her started to fade from his mind. She probably would scoff at the idea anyway, so he would not mention it. Perhaps even his vocals would annoy her. Should he even speak? Or just remain silent and still, keeping her out of the terra until Serris arrived?

But then he watched as Genisys’ eyes softened, her voice ringing out once more. But, I’d like you to. The fae almost seemed to slump, resigned to whatever internal battle had gone on in her mind. She remained silent for a while, and then continued. If you do decide to…to move on, all I ask is that you do me the favor of watching after my brother. Her words confused him once more. Was she not planning on joining the pack? Should she join the pack, she would be able to watch out for her brother herself. “Watch after him, Genisys? Should Serris accept you, and should that be your brother, you could watch out for him yourself.” Aindreas tried to soften his words, knowing that his tone often turned harsh when he was confused. It was natural for him – he viewed confusion as a flaw and would rather be seen as a harsh lupine than as one with flaws.

And the brute decided that he had been confused one too many times by the fae. He had heard from his father, before he died, that femmes were a perplexing enigma. Aindreas had avoided them ever since. “You ask for me to stay, but why do you want company if my orbs offend you so? Are you so lonely that you want to be around someone who irritates you?” His words were unintentionally cruel. He merely wanted to clear up the situation. His gaze fell upon the fae severely, his orbs almost trying to pull the information directly from her mind. But as his words fell out of his mouth, his gaze dropped, conscious once more of his unusual eye color.

OOC- No worries :D It’s quality over quantity anyways and I loooved the post. So cute XD Aindreas is one of my favorite to post because he is so knowledgeable in somethings and then oblivious in others <3
And nowww he is giving her attention… because he is hungry and wants to go hunting lololol SO oblivious. At least one of his misconceptions will be cleared up.
