Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

In the still cool hours of the morning she awoke, the world around her coming into focus as she stretched the stiffness of sleep out of her long limbs. Underneath the old spruce that had been her cover for the night she stood taking in the sounds and smells from Enocra Woodland around her something feels different in the air today Spirit thinks to herself; she strains her ears to pick up the slightest sign of danger. Finding nothing of concern, she starts an easy trot on her way westward heading in the general direction of Mecor Valley. As the feeling continues it must be paranoia from all these years alone, but it seems like this feeling is familiar to me some way. As she trots along the morning summer sun slowly brings life into the forest around her, the warm rays dappling through the trees on to her fur bringing life to her as well and that’s when she realizes, this feeling is that of change whether for her lonely life or for others she did not know but there isn't anything she can do after all change is inevitable it’s best to deal with what comes as it does the best you can. Finally reaching the murky waters where the Enocra Woodland meets Mecor Valley she dips her head down lapping up the cooling water.
