Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It was true that Orion had seen many places, and he had many tales. It wasn't often that he came across someone that was like himself, most had chosen the life of family or at least something that caused them to stay in one place. He thought at times it would be a much easier life, but perhaps not. He didn't know much about raising a family, and doubted that he ever would. Maybe one day, but he had never found a female that he would settle down with, that was important enough for him to stay with. He was under the belief, though, that strange things could always happen.

The stocky black wolf glanced around, his yellow eyes doing a double take as they settled on the mahagony wolf. His tail raised slightly, and he tilted his head at a slight angle curiously. The other was bigger than him, but his green eyes didn't suggest that he wanted a fight. Orion was glad for that, he didn't quite care for offensive fighting, he was only interested in defending himself or another innocent party. He had fought quite a bit for others but he was never the type to go around looking for a fight, the black pelted wolf tended to avoid the types of situations where fighting would occur.

Orion didn't think that he would have to deal with that, though, as the melodic voice reached his ears. It appeared as though the earthen toned wolf wouldn't care to fight so much, either. His yellow eyes settled on the form of the other canine, genuine curiousity apparent in his eyes. It appeared these lands were not deserted after all, which was welcome enough.

“Hello there,” Orion said in his deep, rougher voice. It was a fitting voice for the rugged looking wolf, as if his two years of travel and hardship had manifested themselves into his voice. His gaze remained on the other, not in a dominating way, he was simply curious to learn more about him and the lands of which he had found himself in.
