Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Rogue moved towards the borders of Glorall a rather interesting fellow following not too far behind her. She had randomly found the stranger out in the Crags and he certainly was interesting. After some talking and some quippy remarks Rogue decided that the male would be welcome to follow her to Glorall where she could see if he could be accepted into the Fold. Her gaze went over her shoulder where she glanced at the russet, black and tan male making sure he was keeping up with her. He was, which was lucky for him or else she would have left him out there in the cold to freeze to death. Silly boy coming out here from the hot sandy lands to be tossed into snow. She wondered how he would cope if he would stay here longer. Glorall didn’t get any warmer than any other land during the winter after all. Oh well she guessed that would have to be something he learned to cope with so long as he lived her.

She had chosen to come up to the sandy border by the expansive water so he could see the sea as well as meet with Tesseract here. She paused in the sands looking to the ocean then turning her gaze to the river pack lands. Across the water there was an island, which Rogue would have picked to live on if it wasn’t for the nasty water she had to swim across to get to it first.

”We stand on the border of Glorall. As you can see that island is part of Glorall too, but the main lands are there.” She motioned with her head towards the expansive territory to their right. She was sure she wouldn’t have to howl for him he was aware of his lands and would smell the fresh scent of Ieron amongst the salt air with ease. He didn’t exactly blend in with this area.

She stood waiting for Tesseract to arrive. He would be here soon enough, he was wise wolf with a good head on his shoulders after all there was no reason for him not to come. She hoped he would be pleased with her for bringing someone who she thought could be wonderful help to their lands. Her tail gave a flick and she would answer more questions of the lands of the politics if he so desired.
