Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

With a Crystal heart Shattered by a Forbidden love. Lost Within my own Puzzle ;;


Grey and black form lowered behind a rock, keeping low profile. My body just relaxed enough to let my breathing slow, making it harder and harder to hear. Eyes focused straight ahead. My body nearly didn’t move at all, looking almost like a rock in the middle of the fields and among the flowers. Head low and ears pricked forward.

I kept myself in the same position for a few seconds before lifting again and looking at the pup beside me.

- You got it? It is pretty simple… That is the first thing. We must stay hidden, unseen until we approach the prey and then bounce.


I told him, not sure if he knew this part, the hunting stance. The way we need to approach the prey.

- Try that out and we will try to catch something.

As a pup he would have already learned how to tackle someone so he will be familiar with that part I’m sure. Something that most pups forget is to be patient as it is really tempting to just run after a hare when it moves. We must ignore those and just keep going, approaching slowly and finally making the move and catching the prey. I don’t quite know Exodus so much, so this is just me trying to get to know him more.

I watched him and waited for him to do the same, hoping he would have understood or already did even before I taught him, so we can proceed to one of the most fun parts of learning how to hunt. I remember when mother taught me how to hunt. It was boring at first, but then when we got everything right hunting would be just the most fun thing ever. I wanted to teach him that part and let him experience the same thing I did. It is just great. Perhaps he had never caught a hare, the first time would be great! This gives me an idea.. But I would have to see if he was ready to go.
