Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Soft blue hues scanned the horizon. A sea of flowers laid directly ahead of him, their pastel-colored heads bobbing gently in the breeze, wafting their alluring scent right to the young lad's nostrils. Such a peaceful place to stumble upon. Skipper smiled gently at the thoughts, his little feet carrying him carefully through the never-ending field of blossoms.

The sun was shining down, making everything so much brighter, so much more beautiful. The contrasting breeze gently ruffled his fur, cooling him down when the sun became too hot. Everything was so relaxing. And Skipper deserved relaxation, he thought. He'd been nearly everywhere, wandering around as he checked out Blossom Forest.

There were some places he wouldn't go, however. Like the dark parts of the forest, or too high up mountains. Those were things he'd usually do with his friends. Friends like Seerower -- he hadn't seen his best friend in quite a while now. It was lonely. He missed the other boy. He hated the feeling he got when he was all alone. Skipper was meant to be a leader, he was meant to be around other wolves. And Seerower was meant to be right by his side.

But, he figured it was his fault for wanting to explore. He should have asked the boy to tag along.

He sighed quietly at the thought, pausing for a moment to look around the field once more. He spotted a large tree casting shade over a barren patch of grass. Two roots rose just above the ground, the area between them just big enough for Skipper to lay down in. A perfect place to rest, relax, and maybe catch up on his sleep. He carried himself quickly through the sea of beautiful flowers, to the tree which was budding with just as glorious blossoms. Everything about this place screamed beauty and Skipper loved it.

He lowered himself down between the roots, shifting to the left so that his side would rest against one of the roots, supporting him as he lowered his cranium down to rest on his small front paws. He breathed out contently, letting his eyes flutter shut, allowing the calm to wash over his tired body.
