Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

It wasn't as if he didn't enjoy life in Diveen- in fact, it was actually quite nice- but something felt strange about it, almost like he didn't belong there or something else equally ridiculous. Many of the wolves in the pack had been born and raised in Moladion, and Orion felt like a bit of an outsider at times. The feeling of belonging was strange, alien to the black-pelted wolf, after spending much of his life as a wanderer with no home aside from the endless sky. But as the months pressed on, his life as a loner was pushed further back into his memory, replaced by the new memories he was making in Diveen. Despite that fact, he often found himself sleeping outside of his den under the cover of the sky. He couldn't quite pinpoint the reason. Perhaps it was the fact he didn't want to let that part of him go quite yet, or perhaps it was the fact that much of Moladion remained foreign to him.

In any event, Orion wasn't settling in with too much trouble. And having Neveah there surely didn't hurt; having his imprint around was a surefire way to temper his wanderlust. She was always there for him, and he for her, and in a land that was still somewhat foreign to him their relationship was paramount. And aside from all that, she was just nice to be around. His tail gave a few small wags at her statement. "I've never been to the other packs." he said thoughtfully. "Not a lot of reason for me to go to them, I suppose." The politics of the packs were another thing that Orion was fairly unfamiliar with, it wasn't as if he was a diplomat, but he supposed he should take a bit of time to learn who got along and who didn't.

Orion gave Nev a curious glance, his yellow eyes a little confused. "But Diveen is your home," he said with a small tilt of his head. "I wouldn't make you move to a new pack just because it's a little overwhelming for me." He gave a small chuckle, however her next words caused a small frown to come over his maw.

"Don't say that," Orion said, giving Neveah a friendly nudge on the shoulder, careful to be gentle due to their rather impressive size difference. "You're doing the best you can to help, after all it isn't your fault that I'm weird and can't get used to it." he said jokingly, his tail giving a few wags. She didn't have a reason to be worried about that; Orion wondered if he was talking about it too much. It felt right to share his feelings with his imprint, but maybe he shouldn't talk about his itchy paws so much. He definitely didn't want to cause his imprint any unnecessary stress.
