The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

A subtle pull. With each breath he gives, it softly stirs the fur on her face - a tickle on her nose. As she breathes in his heavy scent that seems to catch in her throat. There is an odd sensation spreading under her flesh, like a string that ties her to him. But why? Never had she had this happen with any other male. In truth it frightens her a little, if the sound of her accelerating heart is proof enough. Despite the fear she cannot move, does not want to move. As teeth grind slightly in her mouth at the conflicting reaction to his flesh she tries to concentrate when tangerine eyes catch the way his mouth begins to form the letters.

"R.." Her voice lower and raspy, as if breathless for a moment. His slow pace causing flesh to shiver at the intimate distance. "E.." Blinking those eyes as she never strays from his rolling tongue and shifting lips. "I.." The next letter proves more difficult, eyes straining to catch the exact letter he is trying to give. "C?.." As she sucks in a heavy breath as one last letter rolls from his lips and off of her tounge. "H." She pauses for just a moment, piecing the letters together until, raspy voice spills as tangerine eyes find his own two colored ones. Your name is Reich."

The slight sway of her tail as it rises and begins to wave in the air, a soft smile on her lips. Yet still she does not move, it is not her intention to crowd his space and hopefully he will overlook her blunder. For try as she might her feet will not move and for some odd reason she is alright with that. As tangerine eyes seem a bit lighter and more carefree as she whispers so close to his cheek. "Will you show me your caves, Reich?" For a moment there is shock on her face, for that is not what she had intended to say. A warm flush to her cheeks without the blush. Slightly embarrased at her question. As raspy voices breathes in a rush. "You don't have too." Eyes shift and lower slightly to look again upon his lips, unsure of what he will see in her eyes. Was this normal? Not in the least, but it would seem she is not ready to part with him even if he denies her proposal.
