His brother was off, being lone, and well, Rye was finding it easy to become lonely now that Ross was insisting on being alone most of the time. That led Rye to explore all alone as well, not as fun, but it was something, right? He slowly came upon the group, watching them be wary of the dead bull elk in the water. But what caught his attention was the silver-white femme on the edge of the water, she appeared to be one of the first there, but that wasn’t why. “R—Renai?” The thought of his little sister being here made him stumble, tripping over his own feet, he moved quickly, not caring much if he brushed into anyone, or got to close to anyone who didn’t want it, running to the side of his little sister. She was so small compared to his size, barely coming near his shoulder, she just looked so fragile, it was all he could do no to wrap his neck around her and hold her tight. But the way she growled and snarled at him, it made him confused, wondering if he had the wrong wolf, but no one had the face and brindles in such a way that she did. He growled lowly, pushing his head against her shoulder, not taking no for an answer, even when she snapped at him, snagging a chunk of fur off of his shoulder. Ugh, who knew little sisters were this temperamental? Oh well, he was determined to keep her away from the dead carcass, something didn’t seem right with how everyone was staring at it without touching it. His attention went to the males speaking of moving it, and he huffed. “Hm, I can help.” |
