Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The ever present urge for more knowledge pushes him forward and into the woodlands. He had not yet chosen a pack, but he was waiting it out a little. He needed to learn more, to see what these lands had to offer. Something where he could earn a place, something that kept him thinking and on his toes. That was the goal when it came to packs. All else was shoved to the back of his mind for now. The pending Winter should have turn his thoughts to females, but thus far Iscariot had no intentions towards such things. He would rather have a set place in a pack before sending his thoughts there, because ambition rose over the concept of emotion and pleasure.

To learn more of the land and the packs was where Riot was at, and to do that, he needed to meet other wolves that lived in these parts. And when the call sounded for those who wanted to get a lesson in hunting, Riot altered his course to head in that direction. It wasn't that he felt like he needed to learn more of hunting, but he was curious to see how those within that group that answered worked together. That, and perhaps he would help out and catch a bite of a meal. How many days had it been since he had hunted? Hunting alone did not gain the bigger prey most of the time, and Riot did not like putting himself in that much danger for half the food to be wasted anyway.

A group hunt could be rather nice, he thought. If they would allow him to join in, of course. So onward he went, noting a female -- the one who called, most likely -- sitting there, and a male's scent nearby, and a younger smell close. Riot settled to his haunches a few paces away and nodded a greeting to the female before peering around and back to her. "Mind if I join in?" He asked, trying to be polite and make sure his presence was acceptable within the hunting circle. If not, he could always go and make note of the interaction and the smell of the pack or packs involved for a later time when debating his pack prospects. The more he knew, the better.
