Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Covet looked most like his father if it came down to which one in stature and color, though he does suppose he's less bulky than his father. He doesn't have the golden of his father's eyes nor the green of his mother's, taking instead something new out of the mix. That inky void for eyes, pupilless pits that probably made it hard for most to tell his expression as they would from those whose pupils didn't blend so perfectly into the rest. No whites, nothing to mark that darkness of his gaze. It suited him well enough to have those particular windows closed to others, and yet it was the one thing that had been deemed a demon mark by angels past, but Covet had never believed in those things.

Malina was certainly no angel, nor would Ava ever be. Yet they had played with the titles, hadn't they? Spoke Latin, though even Covet had learned the language after awhile. He had his reasons, and it had saved the life of the poor soul who had taught him. And although he was no demon, he does know he does what some considered evil things, gruesome even, but he had born with that bloodlust, that craving he couldn't shake. He was practical about the entire matter, not just some uncivilized creature bent on destruction just because. If others were weak, then they were meant to fall under stronger jaws. It was the way of the world, how to keep bloodlines of strength going.

He does notice the trace signs that the other wolf knows that he draws near, but it does not sway him from his purpose. He wants to be closer and have that look at her, and although he'd rather not drag her down to do it, he was still willing to do so. This snake was faster than he looked, but thus far nothing seemed disturbed enough to damage his aim. Covet watched as she lifted her head to stare at him, and he was noting the colors of her eyes as she responded. There was a sharp dip of his head as a sign of welcome for what he thought was a compliment he'd given her. "Have you always had such markings?" He wants to know, sending those silken words at her and waiting for her answer.
