Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Finding his place in the pack had been something he dreamed of, though he did have to wonder if he would be given the same chances for his efforts as those who had been here before him. It is something that makes him think, makes him wonder, but it wouldn't stop him from trying. No, Solitaire would only try harder to do his part and show that he had worth. Whatever it took, he was willing to put forth the effort to show that he did belong here. That he wanted this life, this opportunity, and he would be loyal to his pack and try to be what was needed. Healer, hunter, greeter, whatever he could do to help out. Eventually he would have to be noticed, right?

And he had gone to help Frostbite, which had been one of the healing tasks... though it wasn't after the fight, but the hunt. Still needed healing, though. Just like Tristan needed to be tended to. Solitaire had to laugh when Tristan swayed his mind from such thoughts on a comment about the log helping him build muscles. He nodded. "It's a hope, I suppose. Might help me bring down prey better, or if I need to fight." He was already taking some lessons from Sinclair, though he didn't really want to fight for the spot of Witch. He would if there was no other way to be seen, however. As for Tristan's words of borrowing the log, he had to grin. "You can help pull it while I pick plants." He joked.

He was certainly down to spend more time with his brother. Tristan was a good patient as Solitaire put the paste on the wound, and he had to snort a little at the question of the taste. "Probably how it sounds. Yarrow. Kinda bitter. The ginger isn't bad, the lavender is a little icky.." He shrugged. It needed to be done, and he wasn't going to complain over the taste of it. Probably good for his mouth, honestly. There was a chuckle and shake of his head at Tristan's comment, then brightened at the idea of going fishing. "No, fishing sounds good. Plus, they don't often do damage back." He pointed out with a bit of laughter. Safer than the last hunts, for sure.
