Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The female before me is of very exotic coloring and her eyes are something I could easily get lost in. She is striking in every way and her tongue must be sharp to be coming in talking of the predictability of water. I bet Eden will like her. She is younger but not so young as to be a burden to the pack. She can take care of herself and from the scents on her, I'd say she's been on her own in the free lands for a long time. She must not have ties elsewhere. She responds to my comment about the water and I nod with a smile. "I would hope I have some kind of understanding with it since I've been around water since the day I was born." I offer with a light shrug. I never mind sharing information about myself. She seems quite friendly and I have no reason to think she's any other way in other company.

She smirks at my introduction and gives her name as Bellatrix. Such an unusual name. My tail starts wagging when she says that she is here to join and my lips crinkle back into a happy grin, glad to be of use to the pack. Hopefully Eden will take into account that I'm helping out at the borders. Surely that's good for someone wanting to be a diplomat, right? "Great! I mean..it's a pleasure to meet you, Bellatrix. I'm sure Eden would be honored to have you." I tuck my ears down a little sheepishly at my outburst. I like seeing new faces. As she looks around, my ears flicker in puzzlement but at her words, I scowl a bit and look around myself before offering a light shrug. "I'm afraid I don't think I have the necessary pull to welcome you in myself but I'm sure Eden won't be long. He's very busy, always on the move to help out the pack." I say in his defense, not wanting anyone to think poorly of my leader.
