Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Im already suspicious of her because she's acting like she's protctive of something that's here. I don't see anything worth protecting, if you ask me. Dens certainly don't appeal to me since I'd much rather be outside and all I see is rocks and stuff. At her question, I tilt my head with a smirk. "Well, I don't really know much about you for one. What do you do for fun? What's your favorite game? Do you have any siblings? These are the things pups share about each other when they trust each other." I'm totally making all this up as I go along but she doesn't need to know that.

She tells me her name is Inanna. I try to pronounce it, my brows furrowing in puzzlement. "In..aunna. Wherever did your parents get a name like that? At least mine is easy to say." I scrunch up my nose. She seems excited about something all out of a sudden. As she bounds around me, I watch her with open curiosity, my own tail wagging. I grin at her words. "Now you're speaking my language. Lead the way!" I nod my head. "How can I say no to a face like that?" I smirk. Okay, so I may have gotten some charm from my dad's side.

I turn and start to walk, sure that she'll be right with me. I glance around with an intense gaze, too serious for a pup but adventures are not just a game to me. They are my life. "So where should we go from here? The eastern border for the swamps or the northern for the ravines? Or would you rather pick a new direction?"
