Do you like creating characters but never have time to play them? I thought we could have some fun with the playerless characters ;)

Here's how it works. You can select a playerless character off this list (ideally pick characters which you think people wouldn't want to take - low points, lacking powers, not nice names, etc). Post here to "claim" a playerless character. In the database, its OOC name will change to "Playerless - YOURNAME" to signify that you're not playing that character, but are giving it a makeover.

You then get a 5,000$ make-over voucher for that character, to spend however you like. You can use it to buy them a database glitch for a name change, point bundles, powers, traits, assigned items, etc. All of these are purchased and assigned as normal on the updates board - simply specify that you're purchasing as part of the playerless project and ask for the money to be deducted from that character's voucher. Please note that the voucher is valid only for the individual playerless character you have picked up (so you can't take leftover money for yourself or spend it on your own chars). You do not have to spend the full 5k. If you want to spend more than 5k, you have to dip into your own savings.

You can pick up multiple playerless characters for the project at a time, but each one still only gets their own 5k voucher, and you can't use one character's voucher to buy for a different one.

Next, create a profile for your playerless project character. Write them up a personality, detailed appearance, back-story - whatever you like. You get to be creative here. Make them an Immortal One, a former disgruntled deity employee, a lord of the castle, a former nymph - anything you like (providing it fits in with existing rules about joining).

When you're happy with your creation, post under here with the new profile/listing for the character to drop it back into the playerless bank for anyone to pick up and play. If you end up falling in love with them during the creations process, you can of course keep them.

This opportunity ends on Christmas Day, December 25th, and you can participate as much as you want.

To make it even more fun, there are going to be some silly badges for people to vote on between Christmas and New Year, with little prizes to the players who earn them.

Badges available are:
- Damn I wish I played that character
- I made the wackiest character
- I didn't need to spend any $$ and STILL made something awesome
- I made the most creative backstory
- I made the funniest relationships with existing game characters
- I made the most lovable trainwreck
