Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her laughter was a cure for any ailment, her smile the light to any darkness. She was playful just as he was and her tail wagged just as vigorously. She dared him to use his persuasion, to change her mind. He laughed in response.

"OH, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED."

He warned her with a mischeveous gleam in his eyes. He loved their back and forth banter, how her wit could match him pace for pace. She was just as spirited as he remembered and it kept bringing only the best memories to light. He realized that he wanted to make more, many more with her now that he was back. And he was here to stay as long as he needed to. He collided with her in a tackle as she insulted his physique, rolling around with her in the water. She finally admitted that he was muscle for the most part and she got an answering grin in return.

"I'LL TAKE THAT AS A COMPLIMENT."

As he laid on top of her, he accused her of spitting on him and she gave him her most innocent look, telling him she would never do that. Of course that was right before she turned her head and this time he could tell she was trying to take in water, attempting to do it yet again. He would have laughed if he didn't have something else in mind. Instead he lowered his head daringly, his nose touching hers and he saw something flickering there, something to match his own feelings. He could see confusion and he felt his own soul splitting, knowing he had found his imprint but he couldn't just let this go, whatever this was. He couldn't just drop the history he had with Inanna for a wolf he just met. He had to see where this went first. She didn't move, her body nearly as still as a statue as he pulled back and he knew for certain now that she wasn't going to spit at him again, at least not in this moment. He wondered vaguely what had happened to the water in her mouth. Did she let it run right out of her mouth or did she swallow it? Surely that must taste awful and salty.

But then he was gone, dancing away and daring her to give chase. She did so at a slightly slower speed than he had anticipated so he slowed down to give her a better advantage. Perhaps he had unbalanced her more than he first thought. She ran right at him and he could tell she was coming for revenge. Laughing, he slowed up. Maybe he was enjoying contact with her too much to pass it up and he could do this much for her, allow her a small victory in this battle of wills. He turned at the last minute, standing on his back legs to fac her in a wolf hug of such as she ran at him. He let his front legs wrap around her as they collided and his back hit the sand behind him, a deep grunt leaving his lips at the impact as he looked up at her with only expectation. Then she was asking questions. His lips tugged into a smirk as he tilted his head a little, trying to read her expression before he answered. What would she want it to be? Hopefully she wanted him to stay.

"I AM."

Then she asked if he had a spot yet and he shook his head slowly, still looking into her eyes intensely, trying to read her. She was offering some then and his lips only tugged into a wider smirk, now showing pearly whites in a grin again.

"WELL, I'M ALL EARS."

On cue, he started twitching his ears back and forth, his eyes gleaming at her teasingly.
