Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Inanna

Thor’s secretive demeanor only enticed Inanna further. Curiosity that had been instilled in her at puppyhood had never left her. Over the years it had merely become a little more refined. Or at least simply able to be hidden under a mask of adult interest. Her face was still spread wide in a happy grin, eyes dancing in her excitement, she all but pranced around him, letting it all get the better of her. It might have been her growing feelings for him, it might have been the energy of the season, it might have truly been her body and blood desire to be and stay as close to him as possible.

She stepped away from him, her banner swaying through the air behind her. An almost cruelly teasing expression lit up her features, accented by a chuckle. She might have thought, after all the time he had spent in her den, he would have come across the other entrance. There was also the chance they had been too distracted by each other’s company for her to tell him about it, or for him to notice. She chuckled and nuzzled his cheek before rubbing her face, her neck, and her shoulders under his chin.

There is another way… After another lick to his cheek she bound over to the notch in the earth and the tight hole that led to the outside world. It was close and a struggle for her at times, unless she wiggled just right. Clawing her way out, she made sure to dislodge some earth so it would be a little easier for Thor. At least this way he would be able to avoid being soaked to the bone by the spray of the cold water. Waiting patiently, she sat by the entrance, her tail sweeping a fan in the light snow. She was looking forward to the adventure he would take her on.
