Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The sound of her laughter made his chest tighten with love and affection. Every sound she made was heavensent to his ears and he couldn't get enough of it. He knew Samia would indeed adore her and probably be head over heels at the idea of getting another "sister" out of the deal. Plus she would be happy for him having found someone to make him happy. She was sappy that way. When she hesitated, he moved to get closer to her, knowing that he didn't have a reason to stay away from her anymore. She was his and he was hers, always. He would be the rock when she needed it and her anchor and when she hesitated, it only made him see that he was needed so he brushed against her, sighing in contentment when she nuzzled into his fur. He wasn't expecting those words to fall from her lips though so when he heard them, he was the one who froze now and slowly turned to her.

His eyes widened at first but only until he saw her angelic features then his own split into a smile as he reached out to touch his nose to her cheek softly.

"And I love you, Inanna. Forever."

It was a promise he intended to keep. When she grinned and licked him, he chuckled, watching her bounce back over to the pearl and ask about his sister. He considered for a moment, screwing his face up in thought before he wagged his tail and stood up, giving a light stretch.

"Why wait? I'd yell it from the rooftops if Glorall had any of those. Let's go find Samia. I can't wait for you to meet her."

His tail wagged as he grinned at her, moving in closer to playfully bump her shoulder.

"Besides, we have a lifetime to enjoy ourselves."

Giving her a teasing wink, he nipped at her neck then took off across the sand, heading back the same way they had gone. He wanted to get away from their little hammock before calling so it would remain their little secret. Couldn't have others going in there and messing it all up. He hurried back to the beach, stealing affectionate looks over his shoulder as he went to make sure she was keeping pace alright. He knew she was the runner out of them but he didn't want to set a fast pace if she was trying to bring the pearl or something. Only once they got safely back to the beach did he stop and wait on her before throwing his head up, calling out for his sister. He shifted is weight eagerly as he waited, not at all nervous but more excited to share the good news with his sibling.
