Life had taken an unexpected toll recently. Not only within herself but within the lands in Blossom that she had learned to call home. There had been rumors that went around about magic that used to be in the lands and within certain bloodlines and families, but all of it had sounded so silly to Adara at the time. But now it was real. Too real actually. She hadn’t realized that there was enough of the old bloodlines within her own being to have the magic awake within her. But she couldn’t deny that that was what had happened when she felt the transition go through her own form. Adara had been lucky enough throughout her life to not ever be in a serious fight or to go through any hearbreak, but she felt pain like she couldn’t imagine course through her body. It took her by surprise when it happened and at first she had no idea what was going on. She probably never would have figured it out if there hadn’t been voices of her ancestors in her head telling her what was happening, telling her what it all meant.
At first she wanted it all to be a dream. There was no way that she, Adara, could be a tempest, could be a wolf with magical blood. Could be a wolf that would need to help protect others from the vampires that had now come back. So far her life had been rather uneventful. Her childhood had been interesting as her mother had kept her and one of her brothers away from their father and third sibling. But now everything with her other brother and father had been rectified and life had been easy for the most part. She was nothing special so how could she hold such a role as tempest? It was clearly her father’s blood that held this. Kalgalath had always been a special wolf, she knew that. But didn’t realize how special. And now the silvery colored femme knew how special, and what it meant for her.
After the change had gone through the femme she decided that she needed to seek out her nephew, who she knew was without a family member in the pack he had joined. At least her brother and half-brother had each other to support one another through the change. Adara had found Drizzt at the perfect moment, as he began his own transformation only moments after she got to him. The pair had split up not long after with agreements to find each other soon to figure everything out together. And to reunite with the rest of their family. But for now, the femme needed some time on her own, away from the other tempest to try and make more sense of what was going on, and what was going to happen. As she padded through the trees she noticed the changes throughout the forest and wondered what this all meant. Would there be more problems now that the vampires had come? Would there be wars and bloodshed? She was unsure, but could only hope that she was enough to protect those that needed her help.
Adara’s thoughts were distracted from the magic and the tempest when she caught the site of another varg. She did not know this darker colored male, but he seemed to be minding his own business. For a moment she thought about continuing on without disturbing him, but decided that she could use distracting company at the moment and decided to say hello. ”Hi there stranger.” She kept her distance for a moment, not wanting to encroach on a stranger, but there was a smile on her kissers and her plume was held in a friendly position to let him know that she was not here to bother him.
