Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Despite his weariness at the overwhelming loss of his mate, Talien could not help but to feel a sense of relief of sorts. Despite the still turmoil that overwhelmed her when she allowed herself to think of Dexter; she did not know what she would feel if something had happened to Thor. Though neither of them felt that overall urge to twine heart and soul... he was still a very deep and close part of her. If something happened to him... well, she didn't even want to think of that. She did not think she COULD even think of that. Thor was as much apart of her as the very breath in her own lungs. His absence would be beyond comprehension.

She looks at him now, sterling silver blue eyes glitter in the afternoon light. Despite the sadness that still showed in his eyes and the dull color of his coat, there was almost a sense of life that returned to him now. Not completely, not the same Thor that she knew and loved, but it was close to what she felt he could call a new normal. At least for now. It was something similar to what she was going through... at least that is what she thought anyway.

He smirked and that knowing, playful smile danced across her own silver white features. A single raven tipped ear flickers at the playful quip of his voice and Talien feigns a look of stunned shock. "Play? In the rain? Now why would I risk catching a cold like that when I have a perfectly warm dry den under the trees." she says, reaching for his cheek to nip at him playfully. Silver white tail waving back and forth in renewed hope. Though crab and seafood was not among her list of delicious treats... as long as he was willing to eat, she would try anything. She had a sneaking suspicion that this was one of the first times he was eating in awhile. "I dont know how you do it... Cold meat... does it even bleed?" she asks with a teasing yet truly curious tone. "
