Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Her forequarters slid under the stone while her rear remained out in the cold. "Aye, if she has not become a mouthful for some passer-by." She said pessimistically. "I will have to look into that when I return. At the very least you picked the best of locations in which to abandon my granddaughter. Youkou, her sons, her brother, and I have been calling that forest home for quite a while now."

She placed her head on her paws, glaring at him. Other than the heat in her eyes her face remained deceptively placid...even as her muzzle wrinkled and the white tips of her fangs peeked at him ever so slightly from beneath her furry lips.

"Tell me, just how is it that you are unsure where she is, and yet claim to be certain she is with her mother? Which is it? Are you sure or unsure? In my experience doubt does not lend itself well to parenting...nor does incompetence."
