Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

DAUGHTER OF THE GODS

D A U G H T E R . O F . T H E . G O D S

For all Reginleif knew, the red stallion had complete control of the white mare, but that would have made no difference to her chosen course of action. She was intent on getting the pair to the bachelors so that she could a, sit back and watch the potential fireworks and b, have a little fun bullying them over there in the process. Waiting around for the other bachelors to come to him instead of going straight to them would not garner much respect amongst his peers. Being chased there by a mare of all things, however, well that would really damage his rep (not that any of the other bachelors were anything to write home about anyway).

Unfortunately , the stallion did not bend to her will or rise to meet her, but instead merely stood there quaking as his supposed prize stepped into her path. Slowing, but not stopping, Reginleif snorted at the mare’s words. ”No”. she stated simply with an amused grin on her lips, close enough now to crowd the other mare, ”Now move.”. No sooner had the words left her mouth, than her head snaked forward with teeth intent on the white mare’s face, or neck. If she could get the mare moving, she figured the stallion would follow suit.

Sometimes, Reginleif had to wonder if she was more of a stallion that most of the males on the island put together.
