There was an armed guard on duty at the New Life Church here in Colorado Springs a few years ago who prevented a deranged person from invading the Church after he had already killed a family in the parking lot with a pistol. I have a neighbor who is armed when he goes to church (along with several others) as part of their protection of religious services. The weapons are concealed . The AR-15 is not a weapon that civilians should possess, in my mind. However the worms are out of the can.
