The chestnut Tobiano colt slept with his mother in the cave that only they and his father knew about or at the very least they were the only ones allowed in it perhaps? However, he woke before his mother and after grabbing a quick drink of milk he decides to venture out on his own. His mom would probably kill him later but he didn't want to disturb her so the young draft colt wandered out of the cave. He kicked up his back legs as he took off racing across the sandy ground. The heat wasn't too horrible right now and he was bored.

However, he slides to a halt as he notices another little horse of a lighter build heading in his general direction. His ears were on the other colt as he just stood watching him wondering who he was. He glanced back in the far distance where he knew the cave was. Should he run back there to the safety of his mother? He snorts and shakes his head as he looks back and calls out to the colt both ears forward.
