Re(2): Oh it wasn't about Jim and Me?

Actually I can see it exactly in my minds eye. That's pretty close to as far south as I used to drive. But back after high school I drove a Mister Softee Truck one summer befire the warehouse of 16 trucks was firebombed in 65. My route was 15th to 31st, Cleaveland east to Van Brunt.

I drove every street all summer that year sold lots of dime cones and gave away a lot of ice cream to the kids who didn't hav emoney that day. It was good PR. I was a Shawnee Mission West grad, so I learned alot about the po side of town that summer. And even more when I got drafted in 69 and experienced the barracks battle of the bands between the white soldiers and the black ones. Relationships that decade weren't so good, but we learned to hate Nixon more than each other.
