Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Kiyoko woke at the nudge of her sister. She always knew that being deaf meant to a few of her siblings as she was weak. Kiyoko was just the opposite. Her lack of hearing gave way to a few better senses. The jet black female was just as large as her sprawling sisters and if needed could handle herself...but so long as they thought she was week Kiyoko would only have to fight for food...which was normal amongst litters. Kiyoko read lips well...and the speed of the conversation didn't matter much. When she spoke is was soft and deliberate...being that she couldn't hear she had no room for saying the wrong thing. The blue eyed pup wagged her tail as she went to greet her mother. Walking past and ignoring the two new editions...she hadn't read any lips on the way. "Hello Mother." she said not really expecting a response...she laid between her mothers leg...another battle she knew she'd always win.

Kin didn't like that Akira thought it was her job to play god. The gold and red pup's black eyes showed no real soul. Only those who thought it was their job to play nature wasn't very high on his list. He still didn't care too much for rough housing. Fighting with those too usually ended with him getting blamed...actually not fighting with them got him blamed. Leoniah thought it wasn't a lot to ask her sons to insure that her girls behave. He didn't speak expecting his mother to chastise him for allowing them to fight...he would be responsible for picking up that boulder.

Leoniah licked Kiyoko to say hello and stepped over her to Akemi. "Well dear that was a noble act of you to defend your sister, But you do know it's wrong to fight in the den...you could cause an avalanche or cave in." Tuning towards Akira "and You aren't GOD! You don't choose who should be tested and shouldn't. Can't you just be peaceful enough until the Nobody and Freedom are settled?" Leoniah knew there would be no peace for her...she didn't even know why she asked. Akira was filled with trouble and Leoniah lacked the cruelness to deal with her. "Kin when Mugen returns you two will move that boulder." she said not blaming the boy but still placing him and his brother to clean up his sisters mess.

"Hello" Kiyoko spoke to Nobody "I am deaf...so I read lips." the black pup said and walked back to where she'd been napping. She left out the fact that she could feel the foot steps of anyone who tried to sneak up on her. It was a secret she would later use to protect herself...if none her siblings were around to keep Akira away from her. From her little bed she watched the family's on goings.

Leoniah knew she'd herd some type of flapping before making around to the den opening. "Well everyone Get inside...I'll go search for something quick to eat" she lied intended to just look around and make sure that the mountain was still safe...of course she'd grab something before coming back.
