During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

TO DARKNESS, TO SUFFER WHEN I FALL
I WILL SEE YOU IN HELL

Poison hearts will never change..

I moved swiftly from where the two wolves had just been welcomed, my lithe grey paws carrying me like a dancer across the earth to where I would wait. Instead of going from one spot to another in a rush I decided I would let everyone meet one another, and I would welcome those whom I saw fit right here. I was not ashamed to deny anyone in front of my already pack members, and if they so saw it as rude then they could get the fuck out. I was not the type to play around when I wanted, but after all the rulings then I planned to make our little pack’s acquaintance a little more enjoyable in one way. I was pretty sure Angel was the one who was going to deal with that, but I was willing enough to throw in a few of my own headers.

A small skip and I drew to a dainty stop, my long limbs holding me tall as I threw back my skull in a perfect arch and opened my jaws, a tainted melody welcoming anyone who was brave enough to fall beneath my verdict to come, anyone wanting to join and anyone who already had the title as one of my soldiers. The call was sweet but dangerous, and it came with a clear warning that any mistake would end in death; wolves these days seemed to stupid to realise that death meant the end of everything, that it was your final sentence. It surprised me how many said they were not scared of such a thing but crumpled under it’s threat. I for one feared death, but had faced it enough times to know how to hide it when appropriate.

Finishing my summoning I returned to my normal stance, banner waving above my spine in a casual happy fashion. A smile had grown a little across my lips and my eyes were bright, waiting for the wolves to start making their way into the small clearing. If I was right then the new feminique and her pup would be close by, if not already here, and Angel would be near.

‘Noia!’

As soon as the thought crossed my mind I felt a breeze behind me, heard the growl. Taking a small step to the side I watched as my brother pounced, his white figure standing out in the otherwise dark night. The moon above leaked through the tree-tops, shimmering down upon our two glowing figures. This was one spot where the moon flooded into the most of the clearing, making it easily the brightest spot in the lands at night. Even during the day time the lands held a darker aura to them, the sunlight blocked out by the thick shrubbery. I enjoyed it for just that.

Watching my brother circle me now, I let out a giggle and barked at him.

‘Watch it, Angel, others will be coming.’

The words left my mouth softly, and I took a step forwards. He froze in his tracks and grinned at me, but that did not last long. In under three seconds he was next to me, a ‘nice to see you again, lil sis’ sort of kiss planted sloppily upon my cheek. I growled and pawed it off, swiping at in like a cat would at its toy. We stood then, leaning against one another as we used to, waiting for everyone else to come and join our pack or be vanished.
