Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Slowly but surely Aerten was changing. She would occasionally flash back to her old sarcastic ways and snap the teen back into attention, but there was something different about her. Dib was learning more and more about the Abendrot warrior, but guessed knowing too much would be dangerous for both of them. She was becoming, dare she say it, softer. Of course that word would be kept deep within her heart as the other fae could have taken it as an insult and bitten Dib’s head off literally.

The girl chuffed and nodded at Dib’s sentence as if she knew exactly what she was talking about. So did the older femme have a family too? This adventure was turning out better than she had expected. The girl was beginning to feel even more intrigued by the other russet ess and would find it hard to bite her tongue for much longer.

’You know, I’m not actually planning a full-scale attack on you or your family. I’m just curious; I’ve never experienced a pack like Saw Tooth.’ Dib looked at the ess, unsure of how to take the words. They had a sarcastic air to them however the teen couldn’t help but think she was telling the truth. Aerten shuddered soon after that as if the thought of family and living in a pack like Saw Tooth was to unbearable to think about. In all honesty Dib couldn’t see anything wrong with it. Okay, they weren’t a blood thirsty pack like hers was but, if push came to shove they fiercely defend their home and their family.

‘I guess you could say that. But maybe you thought wrong. Ever considered the fact that what you've been told or have heard might've been the teeniest tiniest bit bias?’ The words stuck in her head. They spoke nothing but truth and for a moment the russet teen sat quietly. Maybe bias words had been forced into her head, clouding her judgement, but still precautions had better be taken with any stranger. ‘It's...complicated, Dib. I only get my paws dirty when necessary, or when ordered. There are better ways than to shed needless blood.’ The warriors words were softer this time as if she had to prove her innocence to the world and everything in it. It appeared that for now Aerten was focused on setting the teen straight and had dropped the facade, if only for a brief while.

”I suppose you are right in a way. Maybe I shouldn’t tar every wolf with the same brush, but wouldn’t you think it nave to let all your guards drop in the presence of another? I am sorry if I offended you, but you understand my reasons surely?” She paused briefly hoping she hadn’t finally over stepped the mark. She was actually quite enjoying having an intelligent conversation with another wolf. ”I understand perfectly, you have to follow orders as do we all in some shape or form, I just thought that some wolves in your pack took it upon themselves to remind others of their blood thirsty nature.” There had been many stories make their way around Blossom including an Abendrot warrior that didn’t give them the best reputation, though she had to admit now, she would try her best not to judge a book by its cover.

Becoming slightly more intrigued now the, brave, teen decided it was her turn to ask questions. Aerten had given of a signal earlier in the conversation that had sparked something up in the girl’s heart... Family. She waited for a minute, thinking of the best way to bring up the subject but decided there was no better way than to be direct. ”Pardon me if I am too bold here but, earlier you seemed to shudder at the thought of a family... Why is that? Do you not have a family deep with Abendrot? Or in fact have a family anywhere at all?” The girl smiled slightly, hoping the ess would take this in her stride rather than find it cheeky and take offense.
