The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

It had been such an easy, relaxing day for Natu. With the comfort of having a place to call home and the freedom to roam as she pleased there seemed to no end to the boundless opportunities that lay before her. For so long her broken heart had scraped her body until she felt raw from the inside out but now there was hope. Her brother, a sour and grumpy creature by nature, had almost overnight become a completely different wolf. She didn't fool herself into thinking it was merely because of brotherly love - no, it had everything to do with the kind of love the soul only knows. But she was still grateful. For now there was a possibility of having not one but two in her life that she could care for once more. Not including the unlimited amount of wolves she could befriend in Spirane.

So Natu had awoken with a soaring heart and light feet. Despite how time has flown past her and age has graced her with wisdom and regality, today Natu feels as heady as a child. So she prances away from Spirane as spritely as a newborn pup, her eyes closing when the breeze presses against her face in welcome. She delights in spring - its scents, sounds, and feel.

She is a wanderer by heart but even a wandered needs a home eventually. And she is not so callous as many. In her short time in Moladion she has not met the violent wolves of Iromar (lucky for her). Not all she has met have been overly friendly but they were not overly threatening either, so she does not worry as she heads towards the crags. Exploration is her fascination and today she feels the need to play deep within her bones. She pauses near one of the crag's many sudden splits in the ground. The gaping maw of rock contrasts against a small meadow near its lip. Flowers waves invitingly and she obliges their message. In a sudden leap the alabaster female jumps into the flowers, falling over so that she can roll in the heady scent with a happy sigh.

NATU
